For professional career men and women struggling to find love, there’s EliteSingles.com.
This site differs greatly from most other online dating websites, but only in its demographic.
Successful singletons from around the world in their tens of thousands flock to the site each month – and for good reason.
The site boasts a high success rate and when paired with the low membership fees, expansive search results, and easy navigation, it’s clear why it’s become so popular over the past few years.
But how does it compare when put up against other websites of a similar calibre?
I took a look at the functionality of the site and tested it first hand, to better understand the potential for those looking for love.
|Active Users||1.8 million|

New users can get started by specifying their gender, their preferred partner’s gender, and their email address.
Once you create an account, you will begin the process of filling in your profile.
You will first be asked about everything from your education level to that which you expect from a potential match. Then, you will be asked to rank different personality traits on a scale.
This process is admittedly long and exhausting and can even feel like a psychological evaluation, but keep in mind that all of the details you provide will bring you closer to finding the optimal match.
You can save your work and continue at a later point if you desire.
Ease of Use
After uploading your photos – the final step of the signup process – you will begin to get partner suggestions.
Unfortunately, you will have to become a premium member to view their images or even send them messages.
This seems like something that would have been pertinent to know before finishing the questionnaire, but I digress.
You can navigate to the different sections of the website using the header bar found on each page.
Elite Singles pairs like-minded individuals based on their preferences, lifestyles and even their earnings.
As expected, this approach has caused a bit of controversy over the years. For example, as good as the intentions of the site may have originally been, I found it to be filled with men and women of all ages hoping to get to know wealthy partners for their own reasons.
As negative as this may seem, I did still notice thousands of individuals on the site hoping to find business-minded partners – those that they can share their lives with and love.
As a result of this split, the developers of Elite Singles introduced a unique filtering system to allow successful members to tailor their search results as preferred.
As elite as many of the members may be on the site, over the past few years there has been a drastic growth in people from all walks of life signing up. The site now boasts thousands of genuine, professionally-minded individuals as standard, but also a whole host of people looking for love on a wider scale.
Thanks to the initial setup, it is easy to refine search results based on sexual orientation, preferences and general lifestyle too.
The matchmaking features are fairly accurate, although it’s not uncommon for one or two irrelevant results to make it in to your suggested match section on a daily basis. The website takes a little longer to match potential partners, but that could be put down to the extensive questionnaires, which can be very beneficial in the long run.
Unlike other sites like Match and eHarmony that match anywhere up to 25 people at a time, on any given day, Elite Singles is fairly limited in that respect – offering between three and seven matches a day. If the quality is of a good standard though, this isn’t too much of an issue.
Elite Singles is very thoughtful with your data.
The site is SSL encrypted, ensuring that your information cannot be easily obtained by outsiders.
If ever you wish to remove your profile, your data will also be deleted locally from Elite’s servers.
As for staying safe on the service, you can both block and report any users you with, but the quality of individual was generally very high, in my experience.
Elite Single is mostly useless for free users, but that’s by design.
Signing up for a six-month or one-year premium account enables you to have unlimited communication, access to intelligent matchmaking, view all member photos, see profiles visitors, and access read receipts for messages.
A ‘light’ account includes a three-month commitment and a more limited feature set for £44.95 per month.
A premium, six-month commitment costs £27.95 per month, while a full year is just £24.95 per month.
Elite Singles really rewards people who commit to the service, but it is still on the higher end of services.
Elite Singles is probably the best dating site to meet educated and high-quality individuals that I have ever tried.
The matchmaking feature is of the highest calibre and you are bound to get relevant results on a daily basis.
I recommend Elite to those who understand how a little bit of money can provide quality results.
